Design of the
resume
Many of my
clients wonder if my resume would comply with international
standards.
There are no
strict rules in relation to the format of a resume unless otherwise
mentioned.
The best format
for your resume is the one that can capture all important information
regarding your candidature and present it attractively. When I mean
attractively, I mean the selection of font size, font type, paragraph style
etc to present information clearly.
Remember we are
fighting the odd statistics of our resume grabbing attention in 20
seconds and escaping the fate of the other 90% resumes that made to
the trash! My advice - shorter the better. |
